Hanging with family all this week and hosting Thanksgiving at our house. We have two birds in the oven, a spiral sliced ham, and lots of gluten-free casseroles and several yummy desserts all ready to go! One year ago today we were reeling and missing my mom, now we are just missing her. Have a wonderful day, and no matter how much your family is annoying you, take a moment to be grateful for them:)

Right now it’s 12:12 am. I’m up waiting for my first turkey to get done. Then back up by 7 to start cooking the second turkey, and all the other side dishes. Even though it is a lot of work. Doing it for all my family & friends makes it all worth it!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Holidays are the hardest when we are missing our loved ones. But–time does heal!
Hope you all had a wonderful day–and didn’t eat too much turkey!!!! We had a wonderful day and are now in the mountains of East TN–ready to do some hiking and waterfalling the next couple of days!!!! BUT–they are saying we may get some snow here tonight/tomorrow….SO????? Who knows!!!
